Ask M.E. #3 Pregnancy discomfort

Dear M.E.,
Is it possible for a baby to kick his way out of the womb? It kind of feels possible.
--Kate

Dear Kate,
According to the movie Aliens, it is possible. But, in real life, not so much.

I think God allows us to feel like the child has an ice pick and is carving his way out so that we will look forward to childbirth. Really, the one thing that is worse than pushing a large head out of a small hole is the idea of a baby Chuck-Norrising it's way out from the inside.

Sincerely,
M.E.

    Hi. I'm M.E.

Growing up my brothers called me a know-it-all.  I wasn't. I just acted like it.

I'm still not. And I don't want to act like it. I just want to help you.

    So, ask me anything.

I'll ponder, research, and guess in order to answer all your questions the best I can.

    Sincerely,
    M. Elizabeth
